  Hello Everyone! How are you? I hope God will always bless us, amen. Here I’m going to share my reading log about Short stories. This week I’ve read some touching short stories. It’s very impressive. Without any further ado, let’s check it out

1.	Thursday	- Ali Baba and Forty Thieves - Be Different	- Because I think it’s short story of Ali in Aladdin. Movie by Disney - Because when I read the word “different”, I think the story will show the unique thing	- Is it right, that the story is about prince Ali in Aladdin? - What is the different thing?
2.	Friday	- Chain of Love - Good and Evil	- Because I think it’ll be a sweet story cause it’s about love. - I’m interested what the story means with “devil”	- could it be a sweet story? - will the characters are fairies who invite the human to do the good or bad things?
3.	Saturday	- Infinity Kiss - Seize Your Courage	-Because I think this story will tell about the most precious person -Because I think it’ll talk about how to have a courage	- who is the precious person in that story? - how to seize the courage?
4.	Sunday	- Save Your Mind at Any Cost - Sands of Forgiveness - Sometimes We Need struggle	- Because I think the story will give the way to save our mind - Because I think it’ll be about infinite forgiveness - Because I’m curious what will the story shows	- How to save our mind? - How much the forgiveness in that story? - Could this story open our eyes that sometimes we need struggle?

Monday	- Wait for A Day -The Fool of The Year - Sleeping Beauty	- Because I’m curious what the character have to wait for a day? - Because I’m curious what kind of fool will show in this story? -I want to compare this story with the story in movie of Disney	- What the character have to wait for a day? - Is it a competition? - Is the story same as the story in Movie of Disney

Title & Page	Ali Baba and Forty Thieves

Characters	Ali Baba, his wife, Khaled,  Kasim and his wife, Marjaneh, and forty thieves
Main points of the story	It’s about Ali Baba who steal gold from the cave. Which is the cave owned by forty thieves. And the cave could open by saying the password.
New Vocabularies found	Loose lids, dagger, suspicious.
Comments	I like the story cause it tells me don’t envy to what our family, friends get. And I also like the character Marjaneh who was really brave in killing all the forty thieves.
Second Story
Time	1.07 P.M – 1.12 P.M
Title & Page	Be Different

Characters	Scientists and 5 monkeys
Main points of the story	It’s about the research of the greatest challenges. That is being ourselves in a world that’s trying to make you like everyone else.
New Vocabularies found	Ladder, soaked, attempted, chaos, echo.
Comments	The story is very meaningful. Although it’s just about a research.

 

Day 2 Friday Date :7th of May 2021

Main points of the story	It’s about kindness that continues like a chain. Till it comes to the one who first share it.
New Vocabularies found	Stranded, frightened, shabby, despite,
Comments	It’s  a really sweet story. Although it’s not about what happened in a love relationship outright. But it’s really melted my heart.
Second Story
Time	1.03 P.M – 1.08 P.M
Title & Page	Good and Evil

Characters	Married couple, Teacher, and students.
Main points of the story	It’s about the teacher who tell a story in the class. And the story is very meaningful for life.
New Vocabularies found	Sinking, cruise, lamented,
Comments	It’s really unexpected story. I think it’s just tell about the good thing that we’ve to do and bad thing that we’ve to avoid. But it tells me that good and evil in this world are really complicated. There are different reason in doing it. And the reason just known by the perpetrator. And again this story melted my heart J
Day 3 Saturday Date :8th of May 2021

Characters	A woman and his son
Main points of the story	It’s about a single parent who work hard for her family. And she feel tired and worried about it. But, un-expectable that her wise young son, uphold and encourage her.

Comments	The story tells me that money couldn’t buy love. Especially the most precious in our life, mom.
Second Story
Time	1.33 P.M – 1.34 P.M
Title & Page	Seize your Courage

Main points of the story	It’s about someone who talks to her/himself to seize the courage.

Comments	The story is really burning the reader’s spirit.

 

Day 4 Sunday Date :9th of May 2021

Main points of the story	It’s about a couple marriage went to their friend’s wedding. But unfortunately, when they on the way to it, the bullock cart almost crashed them. But the husband pulls her wife. And then they safe, but the the wife’s dress is broken
New Vocabularies found	Bullock cart, pit, spoilt.
Comments	Actually, I don’t really understand the story. Whose mind that could save in that story? And why?  I’m still don’t understand
Second Story
Time	8.03 A.M - 08.04 A.M
Title & Page	Sands of Forgiveness

Characters	Two friends
Main points of the story	This story tells about what should we do with  what people done to us? Whether is it good or not

Comments	The moral value from this story is common. Everyone have known it. But I think just a little who could do it.
Third Story
Time	08.05 A.M – 08.07 A.M
Title & Page	Sometimes We Need The Struggle

Characters	A man and a cocoon of butterfly
Main points of the story	The story is about a man who found a cocoon of butterfly. And one day when the butterfly out from it, the man watched, and he felt pity of it. Because the butterfly should go out from a very narrow hole. Then the man helped it. The butterfly go out easily but at the end the butterfly couldn’t fly. Because the man cut the natures process.
New Vocabularies found	Cocoon, further, snipped off, swollen, shriveled, enlarge, haste, restricting.
Comments	When I read the story, my thought as same as the man in the story. If I be the man in the story, I’ll act like he acts. Because I never know it. The story tell me a new knowledge about the butterfly. While the moral value, I could guess it in the middle of the story, after knowing the condition of the butterfly.

 

Day 5 Monday Date :10th of May 2021

Characters	A boy named Schatz, his dad, Doctor.
Main points of the story	A poor Schatz who despair of his life. But at last he get it back. It because he know difference in measure usage.

Comments	The story is ridiculous, but it still have moral value that we can take.
Second Story
Time	1.05 P.M – 1.07 P.M
Title & Page	The Fool of The Year

Characters	Raman, King of Krishnadeva Raya, courtiers.
Main points of the story	The fool of the year is an annual competition in Krishnadeva Raya. And in every year Raman is always become the winner. And that time the courtiers try to fail it. But unfortunately their plan is failed. And Raman still become a winner that year.
New Vocabularies found	Courtiers, kept out, bribed, behaved.
Comments	Raman is annoyed character. But although he’s annoyed he is right.
Third Story
Time	1.08 P.M – 1.12 P.M
Title & Page	Sleeping Beauty

Characters	King & Queen, baby girl, 3 fairies, evil fairy, brave prince.
Main points of the story	It’s about a baby girl of king and queen who just born. Then 3 fairies come to bless her. But unfortunately, when the third fairy about to bless the evil fairy comes and curse her. The curse is when she is 16 years old, she will injured by spinning wheel and she will die. But the third fairy just could to change the curse not get rid of it. So, when it happen, the princess will just fall asleep but she will fall asleep during 1000 years. And the kiss of prince which is could wake her up. And it happens till the prince and the princess get married. And they life happily ever after.

Comments	The story almost same with the story in Disney, Maleficent. But I don’t know why I prefer the story in the Movie.

 

The character that I like most is the son in “Infinity Kiss”. He’s very wise and he has courage to say it. If I could be him, I will give encouragement to who loved by me, especially my mom.
