Reading Log - Fables

4	Sunday	-The Fox and the Stork	- I think I never read this fable	-will the fox eat the stork?

Day 1 Thursday Date : 18th of March 2021
Time	9.30 P.M – 10 P.M
Title	The Eagle and the Jackdaw

Characters	Eagle, Jackdaw, Lamb, Shepherd, Ram.
Main points of the story	The jackdaw see what the eagle do towards the lamb. And the jackdaw think that he could do the same towards the ram he see.
New Vocabularies found	Swooping down, Deed, Rustling, Fierce, Tangled, Ram, Jackdaw.
Comments	The fable make me laugh.
Day 2 Friday Date : 19th of March 2021
Time	10.30 P.M – 11.00 P.M
Title	The Wolf and the Crane

Characters	Wolf, Crane.
Main points of the story	The Wolf asks help to the crane for taking the bone that crosswise in his throat. And the wolf say that he will give the gift. After she takes the bone from his mouth, she asked for the gift but the wolf say that she has got it. She safe from the wolf is the gift.
New Vocabularies found	Feasting, Crosswise, Greedily, Awful, Crane, Grasping,  Snarled, Whirling, Snap off.
Comments	I’m annoyed with the wolf.
Day 3 Saturday Date : 20th of March 2021

Title	The Mole and His Mother

Characters	Mole, Mole’s Mother.
Main points of the story	Mole’s mother told her child the he’s blind but he didn’t trust it. When the mother proved it, then she found beside his child is blind, he’s also lost his sense of smell.

Comments	The message is amazing
Day 4 Sunday Date : 21st of March 2021
Time	3 P.M – 3.45 P.M
Title	The Fox and the Stork

Characters	Fox, Stork.
Main points of the story	The fox invites the stork to come to the dinner. But the fox just serve the food for him. And after that the stork revenge it.
New Vocabularies found	Lapped,  Shallow, Fellow, Licked.
Comments	I can guess the story after what the fox did towards stork.
Day 5 Monday Date : 22nd of March 2021
Time	11.15 A.M – 11.45 A.M
Title	The Fox and the Leopard

Characters	Fox, Leopard
Main points of the story	After Fox and Leopard having the dinner, they rest lazily. And they are talking about their looking.
New Vocabularies found	Disputing, Disdainful, Wise, hits, Yawn, Ribs
Comments	The moral message is very relate with our life right now. Which “Good looking” is the main capital for becoming a success person.

2. The wolf and the Crane: “Expect no reward for serving the wicked.”
3. The Mole and his Mother: “ You’ll find your weaknesses when you boast”
4. The Fox and The Stork:” You’ll get what you’ve done for others “
5. The Fox and The Leopard :” Good Looking is not always an indication of an attractive mind.”
